sunshine on my shoulders

This road is no longer than a mile, and relatively near where I live out here.  I was photographing birds there yesterday morning. More importantly, I was listening to and experiencing birds there … yesterday morning. The landowner stopped by and began talking to me. Nice man, he’s been here for a while. Farming has always been difficult, and even more so these days.  One side of this road will continue farming, and rotating livestock. The other side will be turning into solar panels; the side I was photographing.  Construction will begin in a month.

Feel any way you want.

Cry me a river, or maybe a data center.

Renewable.

I’m going to go turn off unnecessary lights.   (*and “touch grass”. Is not that what the kids say?)

Have a morning.
